Volleyball continues winning ways over Kentucky State
Asbury secured its third win in a row on Tuesday night, completing the season sweep of Kentucky State, 30-24, 30-24, 34-36, 30-24. Junior Ellen Adkison led the team with 17 kills and 28 digs. The amount of digs is the second-highest for the team this year, next to Hannah Wheeler's 36 digs also against Kentucky State back on September 11th. Julia Armstrong registered 22 assists while Jenelle McClean added 14 to pace the Eagles to the win.
Asbury now stands at 8-13 on the year, 2-1 in KIAC play. They will travel to Brescia University in Owensboro, Ky. on Thursday night before returning home to face Kentucky Christian on Saturday at 12:00 noon.
