Adkison named KIAC Volleyball Player of the Week

Ellen Adkison was named the KIAC Volleyball Player of the Week for September 24-30. Adkison was nominated after guiding the Eagles to a 2-0 week with wins over the University of the Cumberlands (Ky.), 31-29, 30-22, 30-19 and against Indiana University East, 30-23, 23-30, 30-28, 31-29. She recorded a season-high 20 kills against IU-East while also registering 19 digs while also getting 12 kills and 14 digs vs. the Cumberlands.

Adkison currently leads the Eagles in kills (224), attack percentage (.251), and service aces (30). She is second on the team in digs with 216, behind Hannah Wheeler's 300.
