Volleyball secures win over Cumberlands
Asbury returned from life on the road to sweep the University of the Cumberlands in three straight games on Thursday night, 31-29, 30-22, 30-19. Junior Ellen Adkison led the Eagles with 12 kills on the night with Danielle Morrison registering a team-high 20 digs. Julia Armstrong and Jenelle McClean combined for 34 total assists to improve Asbury to 6-13 on the season.
The team returns to the court against Indiana-East on Saturday for their second of three straight home games. The match is scheduled for an 11:00 a.m. start.
