Volleyball scores win at Transylvania
Ellen Adkison led the Eagles with 17 kills while Jenelle McClean and Julia Armstrong each registered 20+ assists in a three-game win over Transylvania, 31-29, 30-27, 30-23 on Tuesday night. The win improves the Eagles to 5-11 on the year. In addition to double-digit kills, Adkison also registered double-digit digs with 15. Danielle Morrison led the category for Asbury with 17, followed by Hannah Wheeler with 16.
The team travels to Nashville, Tennessee this weekend to take on Trevecca Nazarene and Lyon (Ark.) College in a tri-match. They will next return home on Thursday, September 27th to face the University of the Cumberlands at 7:00 p.m. at the Luce Center.
