Volleyball hits tough road in Nashville
The Eagles dropped a pair of four-game matches over the weekend in Nashville, Tennessee against host Trevecca Nazarene, 20-30, 19-30, 30-28, 27-30 and against Lyon (Ark.), 30-26, 21-30, 20-30, 20-30.
Ellen Adkison led Asbury against Trevecca with 15 kills and tied for the team lead against Lyon (Ark.) with 13 alongside Danielle Morrison. Jenelle McClean registered the most assists with 42 over the two games, followed by Julia Armstrong's 31.
The loss puts Asbury at 5-13 on the season heading into a match with the University of the Cumberlands at home on Thursday at 7:00 p.m.
