Woolums Added to Softball Team

WILMORE, Ky. – Asbury softball coach Marisa Abell has added Sarah Woolums for the 2013 season.  Woolums will enroll for the spring semester in time to compete for the Eagles in Abell’s first season as head coach.

Woolums graduated from Corbin High School, playing five seasons for Chris Hart and the Redhounds.  She also competed in cross country at Corbin High.  Her sister, Allison, was on the Asbury softball team during the 2011 season.  Her dad, Steve, was a member of the baseball team.

The Eagles will start their season on Feb. 19 at #15 Lindsey Wilson.  Their first home game comes a week later as they host Cumberlands (Ky.).
