In 2006-07, Dr. Paul Nesselroade begins his fourth year as the Asbury College women's soccer coach. He has a career record of 41-53-4 overall, 38-41-3 while at Asbury College. The 2005-06 squad repeated as NCCAA Mid-East Region champions and returned to the NCCAA National Tournament.
A full-time faculty member, Nesselroade is an associate professor in the department of psychology. He is a 1989 graduate of Asbury College, receiving a bachelor of science in chemistry education. In 1993 he received a master of arts in experimental psychology from the University of Louisville, and he received his Ph.D. from Louisville in the same field in 1998.
Nesselroade played soccer at Asbury College from 1985-1988 and was the captain of the 1987 and 1988 teams. While on faculty at Simpson College in Redding, California, Nesselroade served two seasons as the men's assistant coach, and one season (2001-2002) as the men's head coach. His appointment at Asbury College marks his second as a head college coach.
Nesselroade and his wife, Cheryl, have three children and reside in Wilmore.
