Craig Mosqueda

Head Coach, Volleyball

Craig Mosqueda finished his fifth season as the head coach of the Eagles with a 27-18 record, his first winning record since taking over the program five years ago. He became only the fourth volleyball coach in the program's 30-plus year history when he assumed leadership of the program in 2001-2002. He brings a wealth of coaching experience from both the club and high school level to the program.

Prior to coming to Asbury he served as the head volleyball coach at Seaman High School in Topeka, Kansas, for two seasons. His 2000 squad compiled a record of 30-12, winning the regional tournament and placing eighth in the state tournament.

In 2001, he started his own club program, compiling a 64-12 record and gaining a 32nd place finish at the USAV National Tournament. In 1997 and 1998, he served as the volleyball coach at Highland Park High School. Mosqueda taught biology at the school for three years.

He is a 1995 graduate of Washburn University where he received his bachelor's degree in Physical Education with an emphasis in science. He has worked numerous camps including three years at the University of Kansas and two years at the University of Kentucky.

In addition to his coaching duties, Mosqueda is a real estate broker. He resides in Nicholasville with his wife, Leah, and their daughter, Anna Claire.
