Gary Kempf
Athletic Director

Mr. Gary Kempf is Asbury College's second full-time Athletics Director after a 33-year experience at the University of Kansas. From 1972-76, Kempf was a student-athlete at KU, participating in swimming and diving. After graduation in 1976, he began coaching the women's swimming and diving teams, adding the men's teams in 1982. He retired from coaching in 2000, staying on at the university as an athletic administrator until accepting the job at Asbury on July 1, 2005.

James Aller
Head Coach, Men's Basketball
Jim Aller enters his thirteenth season at the helm of Asbury's basketball program in 2006-07. Aller has the distinction of being the "dean of coaches" in the state of Kentucky, holding the longest-running coaching position at a four-year college within the state. Aller owns 182 victories in his twelve seasons, averaging just over 15 wins per season.

Kim Dolak
Assistant Athletic Trainer

Kim Dolak is the new assistant athletic trainer at Asbury College. While working primarily with men's soccer and women's basketball, she will also be assisting the volleyball, cross-country, and swimming/diving teams. Kim looks forward to a successful and healthy season for all Asbury athletics.

Matt Lewis
Head Athletic Trainer
Matt Lewis ('02) is entering his second year as the head athletic trainer here at Asbury College. He came to Asbury after working for one year as an athletic trainer and strength and conditioning coach in the Boston Red Sox minor league organization and two years as the head athletic trainer at Woodford County High School in Versailles, Kentucky. Matt is also a part-time faculty member in the HPERA department.

Craig Mosqueda
Head Coach, Volleyball
Craig Mosqueda finished his fifth season as the head coach of the Eagles with a 27-18 record, his first winning record since taking over the program five years ago. He became only the fourth volleyball coach in the program's 30-plus year history when he assumed leadership of the program in 2001-2002. He brings a wealth of coaching experience from both the club and high school level to the program.

Paul Nesselroade
Head Coach, Women's Soccer
In 2006-07, Dr. Paul Nesselroade begins his fourth year as the Asbury College women's soccer coach. He has a career record of 41-53-4 overall, 38-41-3 while at Asbury College. The 2005-06 squad repeated as NCCAA Mid-East Region champions and returned to the NCCAA National Tournament.

Josh Oakley
Head Coach, Men's Soccer
Josh Oakley begins his fifth season as the head coach of men's soccer. In 2005, Oakley guided his team to a 12-8-1 finish with a second-place finish in the KIAC. For the achievement, Oakley was named the 2005 KIAC Co-Coach of the Year. In 2002, his first season with the Eagles, he led the squad to a 9-9-2 record, the first .500 season for Asbury soccer since 1985. In addition to his coaching duties, Oakley also teaches sports management and physical activity classes for the HPERA department.

Debi Powell
Head Coach, Women’s Basketball & Intramural Coordinator
Debi Powell will begin her fifth season as the women's basketball coach at Asbury College in 2006-07 and is just the second women's basketball coach in the school's history. Asbury marks her first stint as a collegiate head coach, and in 2005-06 the team enjoyed their best success on the court to-date garnering 14 wins, five in conference play.

Heath Tingle
Sports Information Director
Heath Tingle enters his first full year as the Sports Information Director at Asbury College for the 2006-2007 athletic year. Tingle first contributed to the staff in 2004-05 as a student-assistant in the sports information department before taking over SID duties in January of 2006.
