Jarrod Rayborn
Coach Rayborn was first introduced to Asbury tennis in 2009 while working alongside Head Coach Jarred Miller at Kanakuk Kamps in Branson, Mo. He is entering his first year as an assistant with the Eagles in the 2010-11 season. A native of Brookhaven, Miss., Rayborn is a former #1 ranked player within the state of Mississippi. He states his claim to fame as having a win over Devin Britton, the 2009 Men’s NCAA Division I national champion, in junior competition. He attended and played varsity tennis for four years at Mississippi College in Clinton, Miss. graduating in May of 2010 with a degree in Political Science. Coach Rayborn holds multiple state titles in basketball from his high school days at Brookhaven Academy. Rayborn has also worked as a teaching professional at the Brookhaven Country Club in Brookhaven, Miss. He is currently hoping to attend law school in the Fall of 2011.
