Westlund Named KIAC Player of the Week

Asbury University freshman Justin Westlund was named the KIAC men’s tennis player of the week by KIAC officials on Monday, April 4^th. Westlund finished the week with a 3-0 singles record and a 3-0 doubles record.

Competing against College of Mount St. Joseph on March 28^th, he won his singles match 6-0, 6-2 and won his doubles match 8-3. He also won two matches against IU East on April 1^st. The singles match was decided by a score of 6-0, 6-0 and his doubles match ended with a score of 8-0. Westlund ended the week with a 6-0, 6-0 singles win and an 8-3 doubles win over Greenville College on April 2^nd. Asbury is set to return to action on April 5^th when they travel to IU Southeast.
