Swimmers Set to Begin NAIA Championship Meet
OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. – The 2013 NAIA Men’s and Women’s Swimming and Diving National Championships may have started on Wednesday but the Eagles will first hit the pool Thursday. The event is being held at Oklahoma City Community College for the second straight year.
Only diving events were held on Wednesday, leaving Thursday, Friday and Saturday to feature three full days of swimming. The action starts each day with preliminary events beginning at 10 a.m. (11 a.m. eastern) and the finals each night at 6 p.m. (7 p.m. eastern).

Asbury finishes 9th on the men’s side a year ago and 10th on the women’s. The Eagles were 2nd at the ASC Championships this year on the men’s side and 3rd on the women’s. Both teams were the highest ranked NAIA teams in the meet.
The Eagles have qualified 17 men and women to this year’s event. Those swimmers that will represent the team are listed below. There are 17 men’s teams and 20 women’s teams in this year’s field.
