Eagles Swim Past Blue Raiders
WILMORE, Ky. – Asbury swimming picked up another dual meet win on Friday, defeating Lindsey Wilson to improve to 4-1 on the season. The men defeated the Blue Raiders 87-56 while the women won 88-53.
The women won every race and the men won all but two in the victory on Friday. Kayley Valentien continued her strong freshman campaign by qualifying for nationals in the 400 IM with a 4:51.24 swim. Trevor Ehrenheim and Danny Bowman also qualified for nationals on the men’s side in the 400 IM. Ehrenheim with a 4:20.44 and Bowman just behind him with a 4:21.18.
The Eagles will be back in the pool on Saturday as they travel to Barbourville, Ky. to swim against the Bulldogs from Union (Ky.) College.
