Crouse, Hood Named Scholar-Athletes

WILMORE, Ky. – Asbury seniors Jordan Crouse and Matt Hood were named Daktronics-NAIA Men's Swimming & Diving Scholar-Athletes for 2011 by the NAIA.  The Eagles finished 8th at the NAIA National Meet.

Crouse (Elizabeth City, N.C.) is a Communications major and Hood (Beavercreek, Ohio) a Sports Management major with a minor in coaching.  Hood was a National Champion in the 200 freestyle event as a freshman. 

To be nominated student-athletes must be a junior or senior academically and possess a minimum of a 3.5 GPA on a 4.0 scale.
