Braun, Fouts Take KIAC Weekly Honors

BEREA, Ky. – Asbury University senior Dylan Fouts and senior Josh Braun were named the KIAC men’s soccer defensive and offensive players of the week by KIAC officials on Monday, October 22^nd. This is his third defensive player of the week award of the season for Fouts.

 Asbury finished the week with a 2-0 record after defeating Cincinnati Christian University (6-1) and Berea College (3-0), both KIAC opponents. Fouts recorded his second shutout of the year at Berea College on October 18^th and made three saves overall on the week. 

Braun scored a pair of goals last week, netting one in each game on the week.  He scored the game-winner in the match against Berea, scoring the first goal in the 3-0 win.

The Eagles are currently 8-6-1 overall and 2-1-1 in conference play. They will return to action on October 23^rd when they host Toccoa Falls College.
