Fouts Takes KIAC Weekly Award
BEREA, Ky. – Asbury University senior Dylan Fouts was named the KIAC men’s soccer defensive player of the week by KIAC officials on Monday, September 10th. Asbury finished the week with a 1-1 record after losing to Taylor University 2-1 in overtime and defeating Campbellsville University 3-2.
Fouts entered the game at halftime against Campbellsville with the Eagles trailing 2-0 and made five key stops in a 3-2 Asbury comeback win. Fouts is the second straight Eagle to win this award to start the season as fellow keeper Griffin Appel won the award last week.
The Eagles are now 3-1 overall. They will return to action on September 11th when they travel to St. Catherine for a 4 pm start.
