Welch Named KIAC Player of the Week
BEREA, Ky. - Asbury University midfielder Zach Welch was named the KIAC men’s soccer offensive player of the week by KIAC officials on Monday, September 5th.
Asbury played St. Catharine to a 4-4 tie and defeated the University of Pikeville 4-0. Welch scored a pair of goals in the match against St. Catharine and also recorded a goal against Pikeville. Asbury currently has a record of 2-0-1 on the season. They will return to action on September 6th when they host the University of Saint Francis.
