Four Eagles tabbed Scholar-Athletes




WILMORE, Ky. – Four members of the Asbury men’s soccer team were honored as 2010 Daktronics-NAIA Men’s Soccer Scholar-Athletes as announced by the association. Seniors Evan Duszynski (Cynthiana, Ky.) and Alasdair Wooffitt (Bradford, England) were joined by juniors Hayes Creech (Seoul, South Korea) and Sam Miller (York, Pa.).
Duszynski an Education major and Wooffitt a Math major will both graduate in May while Creech, a Journalism and Art History major, and Miller, a Communications major will both be back for their senior campaigns.
Duszynski appeared in 15 games this season, making nine starts and tallied one assist. Wooffitt made six appearances and one start while registering three shots. Creech also saw action in six games and made three starts as a midfielder and defender. Miller was one of five players to start all 17 games for the Eagles, making ever appearance as a defender.
To be eligible for the Daktroincs-NAIA Scholar-Athlete award student-athletes must be either a junior or senior with a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher.
