Popp Named Player of the Week for the 2nd Straight Week
Trent Popp was awarded his second KIAC Soccer Offensive Player of the Week award in as many weeks. The 5-10 sophomore scored the game winning goal in overtime against NCAA Division II opponent Lincoln Memorial. Popp also scored Asbury's only goal in a 2 - 1 loss against Union University. His two goals last week increased his team lead in goals to six. Asbury will be in action again on October 20th at home against Cincinnati Christian University at 7:00 pm.
