Soccer Opener Postponed

Wilmore, KY – Asbury’s home opener was put on hold after a lightning storm stopped action in the 55th minute on Tuesday evening.  The Eagles were leading over Mid-Continent University 2-1 when the storm halted play. 

The game will be re-played from the beginning on Wednesday September 8th starting at 4:00 pm.  All stats, including Phillip Mullin’s and Evan Duszynski’s goals will be wiped away.  Senior defender Jonathan Lewis was lost for the year with a leg injury early in the contest.
