Asbury (4-13) surrendered a goal in the 21st minute when Gustavo Valecillos chipped a rebound over the head of keeper Dylan Fouts. A very physical game that saw 33 fouls called and 11 cards handed out. Asbury suffered mightily more than Campbellsville, having five different players shown a card and Head Coach Josh Oakley receiving another. The biggest blow came when Sophomore Julian Botella was issued his second yellow of the contest and sent off. That's his second red of the season meaning he will miss the next two games, both coming in the conference tournament or next year's first match.

The Eagles had their chances, but never could capitalize with only five of 14 shots on goal. Campbellsville only got off six total shots but four were on target. The Tigers added their second goal on a counter attack in the 76th minute.

Asbury will now head into the KIAC Tournament to be hosted by Mountain State University on Friday and Saturday November 6th and 7th. Asbury will face Brescia, who gave them their only conference loss, on Friday. Game times will be announced as they become available.
