Men Fall to Covenant

Lookout Mountain, GA---The Asbury College men's soccer team dropped their sixth straight match on Saturday, falling to Covenant College 1-0.  The Eagles have lost five matches by one goal, including their last four.

Asbury (4-11-1) fell behind in the 8th minute when Julian Allgerier netted the only goal of the match.  Asbury struggled offensively only getting off nine shots and only four on goal.  Covenant got off 27 shots total and put seven on goal.  Logan Faulkner came up with six saves for the Eagles.

Asbury will host Campbellsville University on Tuesday October 28th at 7pm for Senior Night.  This will be Asbury's last match before the conference tournament hosted by Mountain State, which starts November 7th.
