Seth Eckert scored his first goal of the season, but Asbury fell to Union 3-1.

Asbury (1-5-1) got their only goal when junior forward Seth Eckert put one in the back of net off a Phillip Mullins assist in the 76th minute.  That goal cut Union's lead in half, but Asbury could not come up with an equalizer.  The Bulldogs added a late goal in the 88th minute to make the final 3-1.

The Eagles were out shot 19-9 in the match, and only had three shots on goal.  Asbury has dropped two in a row after a draw with Bryan College.

Asbury will start conference play when they travel to Berea College Wednesday October 1 at 7 pm.  Asbury's next scheduled game with Brescia has been forefitted, as Brescia no longer has a team this season.  That game was supposed to take place Saturday September 27th in Wilmore.
