Women's Soccer falls to Centre, 4-0

Asbury's two-game winning streak ended Wednesday night against Centre College (Ky.), 4-0 at the AC Soccer Field. The loss drops the Eagles back to .500 at 3-3 on the year. The Colonels got on the board fast scoring in the fourth minute on the first of two first-half goals by junior forward Marina Hoe. They would duplicate the effort in the second half getting two goals to provide the final margin. Asbury was outshot on the night 20-4 and only attempted one corner kick compared to Centre's five.

The Eagles return to action on Tuesday, September 18th when they travel to Campbellsville. Kickoff is scheduled for 4:30 p.m. The next home game for Asbury wont come until Saturday, October 6th in a Homecoming match vs. Taylor University (Ind.). That match has a 12:30 p.m. kickoff.
