Men's Soccer hangs on for win against Georgetown
Senior Paul Rader saved scoring his first goal of the season for the right moment on Tuesday night, giving Asbury the 5-4 win over Georgetown after the Eagles had given up a 4-1 lead in the second half. The Eagles, desperately needing a win after dropping their last three matches, came out quick on a goal by Nate DeFreitas in the 10th minute. The senior would later go on to record his first career hat trick, providing the seemingly insurmountable 4-1 lead before Georgetown would answer back to set the stage for Rader's heroics.
The win puts Asbury at 4-5 on the season heading into Saturday's game with Covenant College (Ga.). Game time is set for 7:00 p.m
