Eagles 2nd After One Round at CCU

CINCINNATI, Ohio – After the first day of competition at the Cincinnati Christian Invitational at White Water Golf Course the Eagles sit in second place, 10 strokes behind the hosts from CCU.  The Eagles shot a 328 while CCU leads the field at 318.  Indiana East is third after a 335 and Alice Lloyd sits in fourth with a 397.

Asbury sophomore Zach Lemons is in third place after shooting a 77 on the par-71 course.  IUE’s Joey Smart and CCU’s Kyle Pollock are tied for first with a first round 76.  Asbury’s Brooks Toole shot an 83 while Zack Burr and Daniel Gibbons each shot 84.

The invitational will conclude with 18 holes on Friday.
