Brewster Competes at NAIA Nationals
Asbury cross country runner Jarred Brewster earned an at-large selection to the NAIA Cross Country Championships by finishing 13th at the KIAC/Trans-South/Unaffiliated Meet earlier this month.
Brewster ran a 27:42 on a very wet, soggy course. That is is his third best time of the season, behind his conference and Greater Louisville races in great conditions. He placed 229th out of 323 runners, third among our conference runners.
Coach Randy Crist commented on the experience for the freshamn, "It was a good experience for Jarred who is already talking about wanting to be in the top 100 next year. As much as Jarred has improved the last 18 months he has confidence in his ability to be there next year."
