Daniel Prevett

Daniel Prevett enters his fourth season as the top assistant coach for the Asbury University men’s basketball program in 2011-12 after joining the staff in August of 2008. He previously coached the JV team for three years while also assisting with the varsity team.

Prevett played for Asbury head coach Will Shouse at Kentucky Christian University during the 2006-07 season. As a player for the Knights, Prevett was a member of two NCCAA Division II final four teams, one that took fourth in 2005 and one that finished third in 2007. He was a two-year starter, and a captain for KCU during his senior season.

A native of Louisville, Ky., Prevett graduated from Kentucky Christian in 2007 with a Bachelor of Science in Business. Prior to his arrival at Asbury, he was the junior varsity coach at Somerset Christian School in Somerset, Ky.

Prevett and his wife, Jenni, reside in Nicholasville.
