Delph Named NAIA All-American Honorable Mention

Adam DelphWILMORE, Ky. – Senior guard Adam Delph has been named National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics All-American Honorable Mention as announced by the association on Wednesday. Delph is the first Asbury selection from the men's basketball program since 2007.

Delph led the Kentucky Intercollegiate Athletic Conference in scoring (18.73 ppg) a year after tearing his ACL and missing the entire 2011-12 season. The Louisville native also grabbed 5.0 rebounds per game and led the team with 3.5 assists per game. He led the Eagles to a 20-13 record this season and to the KIAC Tournament championship game for only the second time in school history.

Delph leaves the program with over 1,300 points in just three seasons. He was a vital piece to the 2010-11 team that shared the KIAC regular season title, only the second championship in school history.
