Eagles Defeat Spalding
LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Adam Delph scored 22 in the first half and Dakotah Euton added 13 in the second half as Asbury held on for an 86-85 win over Spalding University on Friday night. The Eagles led by 15 at the half and by as much as 24 in the second half.
Delph finished with a game-high 31 points on 9-of-13 shooting and 11-of-14 from the free throw line. The senior also led the team with four assists. Euton scored 21 points on 8-of-12 shooting and knocked down 5-of-6 from beyond the three-point line. Justin Jones led the Eagles (6-2) with eight rebounds.
The Eagles will play Webster University at Spalding in the Blue and Gold Classic.
