Shouse Named KIAC Coach of the Year
Asbury’s Will Shouse has been named 2010-11 Kentucky Intercollegiate Athletic Conference men’s basketball Coach of the Year as announced by the league office. Shouse has led the Eagles to a school best 11-2 finish in the KIAC and tri-Champions along with Indiana Southeast and Indiana East.
In only his third season at the helm of his alma matter, Shouse has already put together two 20-win seasons as the Eagles sit at 20-7 overall this year. Asbury has only five 20-win seasons in their 20 years of intercollegiate basketball.
Shouse played from 1998-2002 for the Eagles compiling 1,115 points and setting a school record for threes in season with 131 (2001-02). He then served as an assistant from 2002-2006 before spending two years guiding Kentucky Christian University.
