Bair Now an Eagle

Wilmore, Ky. – Asbury University men’s basketball Coach Will Shouse has announced the signing of Kyle Bair from East Carter High School in Grayson, Ky.  Bair, a 6-2 point guard, played on the same AAU team as fellow signee Austin Flannery.

A four-year player under Brandon Baker and the Raiders, Bair helped lead the team to the 2010 KHSAA Sweet 16 as the 16th Region Champions.  He was named to the 16th Region All-Tournament Team in 2008 and 2010, 62nd District All-Tournament Team in 2008 and 2010 and an All-Area Selection in 2010.

“We are very excited to add Kyle to our program, anytime you bring in a player that helped lead his team to Rupp Arena is tremendous,” Coach Will Shouse said.  “He’s a big, strong point guard that gives us a lot of depth that we were thin at last year.”

Bair will join a team that was devastated by injuries last year and finished 15-17.  The team returns four starters and one starter from two years ago that sat out with an injury.
