Delph, Griffith Honored by KIAC

The Kentucky Intercollegiate Athletic Conference is proud to announce Adam Delph and Lakin Griffith Players of the Week for January 25th-Janurary 31st in Men's and Women's Basketball.

Men's Basketball Player of the Week: Adam Delph

Adam Delph was named Kentucky Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Week for January 25th-Janurary 31st.  Delph is a 6-2 freshman guard from Louisville, Kentucky.  He had a career high 27 points in the win over Alice Lloyd College with 21 of them coming in the first half.   He shot 17-29 from the field, added 19 rebounds and had 17 assists over three games this week. Delph is averaging 10.4 points per game and 4.2 rebounds per game on the season, he also leads the team with 36 steals and is second with 11 blocks.

Women's Basketball Player of the Week: Lakin Griffith

Lakin Griffith was named Kentucky Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Women's Basketball Player of the Week for January 25th-Janurary 31st.  Griffith is a 6-0 freshman forward from Sandy Hook, Kentucky.  She had a double double with 13 points and 11 rebounds in a 69-57 loss to Brescia.  Griffith combined for 36 points and 25 rebounds in three games over the week.  Griffith leads the team with 6.7 rebounds per game and is also averaging 6.4 points per game.
