Eagles Raise Money For Haiti
Wilmore, Ky. - Asbury's Athletic Department was able to raise $550 to aid Haiti Relief on Tuesday January 26th during a men's and women's basketball double-header against Brescia. The money will go towards Asbury's campus-wide fund raising effort to benefit the people of Haiti.
Chick-fil-A donated 25 sandwiches per game that were sold for $3 each with all the money going towards the relief effort. Asbury also donated all money from the concessions sold and the ticket sales from the games to the cause.
