Eagles Fall to IUS

Wilmore, KY---The Asbury College Eagles dropped a close one to KIAC rival Indiana Southeast 93-88 in the Luce Center on Saturday February 14th.  The Eagles were down by three at the half 47-44, and fell behind by as many as 19 in the second half before making a furious rally that came up just short.

Asbury (16-10, 4-5) was led by sophomore Jordan Hammonds' season high 31 points on 10-of-22 shooting including four 3-points and hitting 7-of-10 free throws.  He also grabbed seven rebounds and dished out four assists.  Junior Brian Johnson recorded his second double-double of the season, scoring 17 and grabbing 13 rebounds.  He also handed out four assists.  Sophomore Phillip Morrison scored 22 points and help lead the late rally, knocking down four 3-pointers in the game.
