Morrison named KIAC and NCCAA Player of the Week
Wilmore, Ky---Asbury College sophomore Phillip Morrison was name KIAC and NCCAA Player of the Week for the week of 11/24-11/30. Morrison led the Eagles averaging 21.3 points in three games this week.
Morrison's biggest output was a 33 point performance last Tuesday against Philadelphia Biblical Universiy, shooting 13-15 from the floor and 2-3 from 3-point range and 5-5 from the free throw line. Morrison would follow up with 15 points Friday night against St. Catharine's and 16 against Westminster (MO) on Saturday. Morrison is the first men's basketball player to be named KIAC Player of the Week this season, joining women's player Courtney Albin who received the award for the week of 11/17-11/23. Morrison is the first Eagle in any sport to be named NCCAA Player of the Week this year.
