IU-Southeast outlasts Asbury, 70-65
New Albany, IN - Asbury fell to conference champion, IU-Southeast, 70-65 on Saturday afternoon to complete the regular season at 3-5 in conference play, 16-12 overall. The Eagles were led by Ben Spann with 16 points, joined in double-figures by Brett Johnson with 15 and Michael Spann with 13.
The Eagles finish the season as the fourth-ranked team within the KIAC, meaning they'll play on Thursday night against the number five-seed, St. Louis Pharmacy at 7:00 p.m. Should the Eagles advance, they would get a third shot against the Grenadiers on Friday at 5:00 p.m.
