Men outclass St. Louis Pharmacy, 83-32

Wilmore, KY - Asbury got back to winning ways in a big fashion, defeating St. Louis College of Pharmacy, 83-32 on Saturday. The Eagles used a stunning 47-4 run after taking their first lead at 9-8 to sail into halftime up 55-12, never looking back. Michael Spann led all scorers with 19 points as twelve Eagles would score in the game. The contest also marked a return to the starting lineup for senior Brett Johnson after an ankle injury had kept him out until Thursday's game at Spalding in a limited role. Johnson scored 10 points in just 18 minutes.

The win puts Asbury at 12-8 overall, 1-1 in KIAC play. The men will travel to Berea College on Tuesday night to take on the Mountaineers at 7:30 p.m. Their next game at home is Friday, February 1st against IU-East at 7:00 p.m.
