Men's Basketball cracks NAIA D-II Top 25 poll
Asbury's men's basketball team was ranked 25th in the country according to NAIA Division II coaches in a poll released by the NAIA on December 12th. The Eagles received 84 votes, largely thanks to their 68-64 upset of NAIA Division I, University of the Cumberlands at the KIAC-MidSouth Challenge in Berea back on December 8th.
The Eagles stand at 9-3 on the season as they will head next to play back-to-back NCAA Division I teams, Georgia Southern and Chattanooga on December 20th and 21st. The Eagles were set to play Northern Kentucky University today but the game was cancelled with a make-up date yet to be decided.
