Brett Johnson named KIAC Men's Basketball Player of the Week
Brett Johnson earned KIAC Player of the Week for November 26-December 2 on Tuesday. The 6'7 forward from Wilmore earned recognition after his 42-point, 11-rebound performance against Cincinnati Christian on Saturday.

Johnson's outburst moved his points per game average to an even 20.0 for the year before last night's game at Campbellsville. It also marked the first time since March 17, 2000 that an Asbury player scored 40 or more points in a game when Eagles' assistant coach Jason Price scored 43 points in his final collegiate game against Tennessee Temple in the NCCAA National Tournament.
Johnson is the reigning KIAC Men's Basketball Player of the Year as well as the conference's Athlete of the Year. He also won the weekly award in the 2006-07 season for the week of February 6-12.
