Brett Johnson captures second-straight KIAC Player of the Week Award

Louisville, Ky.(KIAC) - Brett Johnson earned second-straight KIAC Player of the Week Award for Dec. 3-9 after a 24-point, 13-rebound performance earns the Eagles a win over NAIA Division I, University of the Cumberlands, 68-64 at the KIAC-MidSouth Challenge in Berea, Ky. on Saturday. The win marked the first win for the KIAC in the two-year, six-game history of the event.

Johnson also had a 28-point, 9-rebound game at Johnson Bible earlier in the week, rescuing the Eagles in an 89-84 triumph. The achievement is Johnson's third in his Asbury career with last week's award and one for February 6-12 of last year.
