Men’s basketball player named KIAC player of the week

WILMORE, KY— Brandon Fentress earned KIAC Player of the Week for Jan. 29-Feb. 4, highlighted for his career-high of 17 rebounds against Indiana University-Southeast on Jan. 30. The junior forward from Louisville contributed 12 points in the 77-70 Asbury College win, giving the Eagles first place in the conference.

Fentress continued his solid performance two nights later, shooting 89 percent against Indiana University-East. Fentress added 16 points and four rebounds marking his fifth straight game in double figures from the Eagle bench. He has appeared in all 24 games, averaging 8.8 points and 5.0 rebounds per game.

Asbury College currently stands 4-1 in the KIAC, 17-7 overall.
