Olszowy Takes Home KIAC Weekly Award
BEREA, Ky. - Asbury University senior Danny Olszowy was named the KIAC baseball player of the week by KIAC officials on Monday, April 2nd.
Olszowy lead Asbury to a winning week as the Eagles finished with a 3-2 record. The senior left fielder collected at least one hit in all five games played last week. He ended the week with a .474 batting average (9-for-19) and had a .947 slugging percentage. He had 2 doubles, 2 triples, a homerun, 6 runs batted in, and scored 3 runs. Olszowy improved his season batting average to .385 (37-for-96).
Asbury is 7-29 overall and 6-6 in conference play. They lost to Georgetown College 15-0 on Monday.
