Bell Named Pitcher of the Week
BEREA, Ky. - Asbury University junior Isaiah Bell was named the KIAC baseball pitcher of the week by KIAC officials on Monday, March 12th.
Bell picked up the first win of the season for the Eagles on Saturday in a 3-0 victory over Indiana Southeast. The right-hander pitched 5 innings in the game allowing only 3 hits and striking out 3. For the week Bell threw 7 innings and had a 1.29 ERA. The junior struck out five batters on the week and had a 1-1 record.
Asbury is 1-18 overall and 1-1 in conference play. They will return to action on March 13th when they travel to Georgetown College for a doubleheader.
