Bowling Named KIAC Pitcher of the Week
Asbury University senior Greg Bowling was named the KIAC baseball pitcher of the week by KIAC officials on Monday, April 18th. Bowling pitched a complete game shutout in a 5-0 Asbury win over Berea College on April 16th.
He allowed only four hits against the Mountaineers who lead the KIAC in batting average while striking out five Berea hitters. The senior hurler is now 4-2 on the season and ranks second in the KIAC with an earned run average of 2.80. Asbury is set to return to action on April 19th when they host Alice Lloyd College for a doubleheader at 2:00 pm.
