Adams Named KIAC Pitcher of the Week Again

Asbury University senior Gardner Adams was named the KIAC baseball pitcher of the week by KIAC officials on Monday, April 11^th. In five innings of work against Alice Lloyd College, Adams only had one earned run to lead Asbury to a 4-3 victory. This is the second time this season Adams has been named Pitcher of the Week by the conference, the first coming on March 28th. 

Adams allowed only three hits and struck out eight Alice Lloyd hitters. He is now 7-2 on the season and the opposition is only hitting .231 when he takes the mound which leads the KIAC. The Asbury senior is ranked 16^th in the NAIA in wins (7) and is 17^th in batters struck out per 9 innings (10.9). Asbury will return to action on April 13^th when they host Union (Ky.) for one nine-inning game.
