Baseball's Opening Weekend Canceled

WILMORE, Ky. – Asbury’s 2011 baseball opener will not be this weekend as originally planned.  Due to field conditions and projected weather forecast for this weekend, the four game series against Judson University has been canceled.

The Eagles are now set to open the season on the road at Pikeville on Tuesday February 15th.  Their home opener is now set for February 22nd against St. Catharine.

Asbury and Judson tried to play at the beginning of last season as well but those games were called off due to weather.  No definitive plans have been made for trying to re-schedule for this year.
