Sweep Complete, Eagles Finish off Alice Lloyd

Pippa Passes, Ky. – Asbury finished off a four game sweep of KIAC rival Alice Lloyd with 7-3 and 6-5 victories on Saturday afternoon.  The Eagles responded well after dropping all four conference games last weekend to IUS, and snapped a season long six game losing streak.

Asbury (16-19, 8-4 KIAC) were led by pitchers Greg Bowling in game one and Jon Wes Adams in game two.  Bowling threw a complete game and improves to 4-2, he now leads the team in wins and complete games with five.  Adams finished off the sweep and stays perfect on the season at 3-0.
