Bowling, Deetsch KIAC Players of the Week

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (March 15th, 2010) The Kentucky Intercollegiate Athletic Conference is proud to announce Player of the Week honors for March 8th- March 14th in Baseball.      

Baseball Pitcher of the Week: Greg Bowling, Asbury University 

Greg Bowling was named Kentucky Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Baseball Pitcher of the Week for March 8th-March 14th.  Bowling is a 6-2 junior from Ashland, Kentucky.  He pitched a complete game and held Lambuth to two runs in a 3-2 win.  The win improves Bowling to 2-0 on the season. 

Baseball Player of the Week: Mark Deetsch, Asbury University

Mark Deetsch was named Kentucky Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Baseball Player of the Week for March 8th- March 14th.  Deetsch is a 5-10 junior second baseman from Louisville, Kentucky.  He went 2 of 3 with a homer and 2 RBI’s in a 13-3 win over Pikeville.  Deetsch leads Asbury in batting with a .408 average.
