Baseball finishes Spring trip with mixed results

Asbury currently sits at 5-8 on the season after a 3-2 win at Southern Poly Tech on Wednesday in a game that was called after six innings of play due to rain. The game was actually in the 7th when called but all stats roll back to the last inning completed. The Eagles then traveled to Tennessee Temple on Thursday, falling to the Crusaders, 4-3.

Box scores have not been sent from either game with scores being provided by head coach Lee Rogers.

Asbury returns home but will face a revised schedule of games. Ohio Christian was set to play in Wilmore on Tuesday with the Eagles making a return trip to Ohio for the weekend. This has now been changed to a weekend doubleheader in Wilmore with Tuesday's home game between the two teams being cancelled. First pitch on Saturday will be at 1:00 p.m.

The Eagles are hoping to add home opponents on Tuesday and Wednesday due to the number of rainouts this year. Details will be released if games are scheduled.
